our story
Black Box is a structural consulting firm founded by David Bueno, PE in 2018. Since opening, Black Box has been the structural lead for over 270 projects in NY and its neighboring counties, including: new construction, brownstone & rowhouse renovations & expansions, commercial fit-outs, parking structure inspections, retaining wall repairs, art installations, and more!
Black Box is actively involved in the Structural Engineers Association of New York (SEAoNY) and provides internships & job shadows for minority students in civil engineering majors from the city's local universities.
